inspirED Africa Experience

Through immersive educational trips to Africa, this program focuses on experiential learning, where students engage in hands-on experiences and reflections, helping them connect classroom theories to real-world situations. Participants will gain an understanding of different industries (manufacturing, agriculture, government), volunteer at educational and healthcare organizations, enjoy exciting adventures like trips to the Masai Mara, and have the opportunity to create and manage non-profit organizations with their peers. inspirED Africa seeks to build global connections, foster impactful experiences, and offer students the best time of their lives while learning about Africa's rich heritage and modern advancements.

Khushi, inspirED Africa’s co-founder was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. She has spent 20+ years in the continent and has first hand experience of the ground-breaking innovation and rich culture the continent has to offer. Using her local connections, she curates these trips with utmost attention to detail. Safety is her first priority.

Focus to Learning

The trip is designed with the focus to be learning and knowledge sharing. Although the trip will include a safari and other fun experiences, it is not a vacation. The inspirED Africa adventure is an immersive learning experience to have high school students explore the opportunities in this continent. The founders have a background in running an education non-profit, studying at University of California Berkeley, University of Chicago Law School, Stanford University, and Booth School of Business, and experience working with several African organizations.

Long-lasting Impact

The impact you create does not end with the conclusion of the trip. You will have the opportunity to build a non-profit organization with other students who attended the trip and continue to create an impact in the continent. We will support you through the registration process and be there at every step of your impact journey.
